Third Floor copy

水谷藝術的三四樓層，是如Déjà vu一般，相同且重複的空間感，《三樓中樓》用影像將四樓轉化為三樓的數位複製空間，在概念上「去除四樓」，發想自傳統觀念的迷信，偶爾搭到一些電梯，甚至會將本該是四樓的按鍵空白，那空白的樓層令人充滿無限想像。這次實驗以影像連結兩個樓層，在文字上也以「樓中樓」來回應影像虛實之間的對映關係。此作在觀看作品的方式以及影像於空間中的安置上多作琢磨，使觀眾閱讀作品的位置從水平移動轉為垂直移動，影像生成於空間中的維度提升，以另一種身體感知經驗影像空間。

The third and fourth floors of Waley Art evoke a sense of déjà vu, presenting an identical and repetitive spatial experience. Third Floor copy (三樓中樓) transforms the fourth floor into a digital replica of the third, conceptually “removing" the fourth floor. This idea stems from traditional superstitions—elevators occasionally leave the fourth-floor button blank, allowing that void to spark endless imagination.

This experiment connects the two floors through imagery, while the term “樓中樓" metaphorically mirrors the interplay between illusion and reality. The work delves into how viewers engage with the piece and how the imagery is integrated within the space. By shifting the audience’s movement from horizontal to vertical, the installation elevates the dimensionality of the image within the space. It offers an alternate bodily experience, encouraging a deeper spatial perception of the image’s presence.
