Carbon Sunlight

Attempting to stretch the image from digital space to physical space, I employ a logic of anti-imaging, leaving the windows uncovered to allow external light to flow into the space and influence the image. This exploration delves into the interplay of window light, screen light, and the reflections of screens within the space.

Within the physical architecture, I seek the undefined space between material and digital, applying a layer of green transparent film onto the windows to alter their properties, transforming the sunlight entering the interior into light extending onto the surface of the windows. I utilize projection to simulate the silhouette of sunlight and employ another television to mimic and correspond with the windows, projecting silhouettes of nonexistent “windows" into the space. “Carbon Sunlight" no longer reproduces reality but depicts a digital imagination. The moving green silhouettes in space, the overlapping projections and sunlight of virtual and real, create a peculiar spectacle.
